Seiko Prospex European Exclusive Limited Edition 1965 Recreation
Description
There are only 1,000 pieces available of this European Exclusive model.
Its design is inspired by the white sandy beaches and light blue waters of the Greek Ionian islands – an ideal diving hotspot. The gradation blended colour dial of this Prospex European Exclusive captures the image of these crystal-clear waters.
The shape of the timepiece echoes Seiko’s – and Japan’s – first ever diving watch from 1965 which marked the beginning of Seiko’s watchmaking pursuit for diving reliability, safety, and professional specifications.
Under a curved sapphire crystal glass, the patterned dial evokes the gentle ripples of the mediterranean; the gradation of light blue and white reminiscent of white sandy beaches and vibrant sea. A dark navy bezel and strong Lumibrite on its indices and hands complete its diving watch credentials, whilst it’s accompanied by an additional white silicone strap option – ideal for diving in any location.
Powered by the in-house 6R35 calibre, accurate to -15/+25 seconds per day, with a power reserve of 70 hours, the limited-edition number is engraved on the case back.
Prospex is a combination of the words ‘Professional’ and ‘Specifications.’ Seiko Prospex timepieces are designed to be practical, reliable, and durable; to meet the high standards required in extreme environments for sports lovers and adventure seekers alike.
